This is the second year we have booked with Home From Home and we booked the same cottage as the year before. The booking system is easy to navigate and By The Brae is such a lovely cottage, spotlessly clean and has everything you require. An added bonus is that it has two en-suite bathrooms and everything inside the home is on one level which makes it ideal for a wheelchair user, including ramp access from the drive up to entry door. We had a very enjoyable stay at By the Brae cottage and would thoroughly recommend this clean and cosy place to stay. Lovely quiet area with close proximity to the town which was lovely. Lots to see and do in and around Pitlochry.

Just back from our 7th stay at By the Brae. It was our first break away since Covid. The cottage was as welcoming as ever and so relaxing. Wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for a lovely stay and already booked for next year.

Have now stayed in this cottage 3 times , and each time never disappoints. It is ideal as we are 2 friends playing in the Ladies Highland open and we can both have our own bathroom and ensuite. It is a well appointed cottage with everything that we need for our 5 /6 day break.

We are now back home and already missing our wonderful ”home from home “ By the Brae! Can you pass on our thanks to Faye for providing such a welcoming home for us to use. It was most comfortable and cosy and we had all we needed (in spite of Covid regulations). I had taken soap but forgot the shower gel and shampoo! We had a wonderful week, rediscovering old haunts and finding new places and doing lots of walking as the weather was kind....mostly!

Just to let you know we had a lovely week at "By the Brae" and the bungalow definitely lived up to our expectations. It was clean and comfortable and there was everything we needed. It was so lovely, quiet and peaceful too - just what we needed and we definitely felt better for our holiday there

By The Brae is a truly unique holiday home, cleverly converted, loving presented and equipped with the greatest care and attention. Located just a short stroll from central Pitlochry By The Brae offers both convenient and attractive self catering accommodation.
The vibrant Highland Perthshire town of Pitlochry has a wonderful selection of shops, restaurants and visitor attractions.
The charming open plan living area is tastefully decorated with comfy furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave oven, integrated fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine.
Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities and are furnished to a high standard.
Quality mattresses, pillows and duvets along with Egyptian cotton bed linen ensure a good nights sleep. The elegant en-suite shower rooms include luxurious towels and complementary toiletries
Storage facilities for muddy boots and wet walking gear are also available.
