Parkview is a spacious and very comfortable holiday home enjoying a fine elevated location with wonderful views over the Tummel valley and tree-lined hills beyond. Sleeping six, this spacious self-catering home offers a secluded, peaceful setting and yet is only a short stroll from Pitlochry town centre with its numerous shops, restaurants and famous Festival Theatre ( a pleasant 5 minute walk from the house).
Accommodation comprises: a large, elegant lounge with TV, DVD and Free-sat, open-plan dining area off with superb views over Pitlochry playing fields and surrounding hills. A well equipped and roomy breakfasting kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and fridge, useful utility area with washing machine. Large Twin bedroom with ample storage, sunny double bedroom with wonderful southerly views, master bedroom with en-suite shower room, TV and generous storage. The spacious family bathroom includes both a bath and shower cubicle. With double glazing throughout and gas central heating guests can be ensured of feeling cosy all year round.

Outside Parkview is surrounded by attractive mature gardens, which are fully enclosed and quite private including a paved patio and BBQ area. Parents of small children should note the garden includes a steep bank so children should be supervised when playing outside. A substantial double garage houses a snooker/ table tennis table and is perfect for bike / golf club storage. Ample parking.

Each September Pitlochry recreation field is venue for the towns celebrated Highland Games. With its elevated position overlooking the playing fields Parkview offers a birds eye view of the days events.

Pitlochry lies in the beautiful valley of the River Tummel surrounded by woodlands and heather clad mountains at the geographical centre of Scotland. The main A9 bypasses the town and Pitlochry`s mainline trainstation ( just a five minute walk from Parkview) offers sleeper services to London, while Edinburgh airport is a 90 minute drive.

All bedding and towels are provided and a cot and high chair are available.

Our office hours are 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am - 3.00pm Saturday.

A 25% deposit secures your holiday with the balance payable 7 weeks prior to the start of your stay.

Parkview Terms & Conditions

  1. Home From Home Perthshire- act only as agents for the owners of Highland Perthshire, Scotland, self-catering holiday cottages featured on its website. The hiring contract is between the holiday maker & the Perthshire self-catering cottage owner. The receipt of a signed booking form/e-mail confirmation and/or payment of the non- refundable deposit is deemed to be a firm booking and it is assumed that the hirer has read & agrees to the conditions as found on our website.
  2. If accepted the hirer becomes liable for the full remaining balance of the charges which are due seven weeks prior to the commencement date of their Highland Perthshire self-catering holiday.This includes short break cottage bookings. Non-payment of the balance by the due date will result in the Agency regarding the self-catering cottage as being available for re-booking.
  3. In the event a Hirer cancels a confirmed self-catering cottage booking he/she remains liable for payment of the full cost of the holiday. Upon receipt of written confirmation of the cancellation from the Hirer, we will attempt to re-let the holiday cottage and if successful will make a full refund to the hirer less an administration fee of £50 and any other expenses incurred in re-letting the holiday cottage.
  4. The number of persons occupying one of our Highland Perthshire self-catering cottages must not exceed the maximum occupancy level stated in the cottage details. Holiday home owners reserve the right to end occupancy of their Scottish self-catering cottage without notice or refund in the case of a breach of this condition.
  5. The hirer is fully liable for the condition of the self-catering cottage and its contents for the period of their holiday (fair wear & tear excepted). The hirer will make good any damage or loss & leave the self-catering cottage & its contents in a clean & orderly condition. The individual who signed the booking form will be held responsible for the hiring party.
  6. Comprehensive conditions and restrictions applying to each of our Scottish Highlands self-catering cottages (e.g. good housekeeping deposits, limitations on pets, children, short breaks etc) will be stated in each individual holiday cottage description & form part of these Hiring Terms & Conditions.
  7. Owners reserve the right to refuse to hand over occupancy of their self-catering cottage to any person/s that in their opinion, is not appropriate to take charge.In this eventuality hire charges will be refunded in full & the liability of the owner shall cease. Without prior consent properties are not available for hire to single sex groups, stag / hen parties.
  8. If an owner is prevented , due to situations beyond their control, (e.g. fire damage, flood, drought or the interruption of utility supplies),from putting their self-catering cottage at the disposal of the Hirer, the hire charge shall be refunded in full but the Hirer shall have no further claim against the owner.This includes short break bookings of hoilday cottages
  9. Home From Home Perthshire have taken every care to ensure the correctness of their Highland Perthshire self-catering holiday cottages descriptions and all information is given in good faith and deemed accurate, but the Agency cannot be held responsible for changes beyond their control or be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the owner resulting in loss, injury or accident caused to the Hirer.
