Enjoying an idyllic location in the heart of the Perthshire countryside this spacious house has been lovingly refurbished and now offers stylish and comfortable accommodation for families or groups of friends. Sleeping 6 + 2 and just six miles from the charming Cathedral town of Dunkeld, Craigellachie makes the perfect base for exploring highland Perthshire.

Airy, spacious and versatile, the open plan living area is the hub of this cleverly designed home. Newly fitted, the stylish kitchen is extremely well equipped (large fridge freezer, dishwasher, wine fridge, microwave, and cooker with induction hob), the adjacent dining area has patio doors leading out onto the paved patio area ( BBQ & garden furniture ).

The large open plan living space offers wonderful south facing views of the surrounding countryside, ample comfortable seating and impressive wood-burning stove (initial supply of logs included), flat screen TV, DVD player.
 
Utility room ( washing machine ) and adjacent cloakroom with WC.
 
Impressively large king size master bedroom with fine views across the garden. 
 
Large, bright bedroom with king size bed and ample storage.
 
Family bathroom with bathtub (shower over), sink and wc.
 
Upstairs, the open - plan family space includes an office work space, beanbags and TV.
 
The large en-suite family room sleeps 3 with a zip link bed which can be set up as a super-king or twin beds ( please specify desired configuration when booking), plus an additional single guest bed.
 
Outside the large enclosed garden enjoys fine views across  the surrounding countryside, a paved patio area offers the perfect space for entertaining long into the summer evenings.

The surrounding countryside is full of things to do and see, there are spectacular waterfalls and riverside walks at the nearby Hermitage, the osprey hide on the Loch of the Lowes, the Beatrix Potter centre at Birnam as well as great walking, golfing and cycling. With excellent road connections and a railway station at Birnam Craigellachie makes a great base for exploring in all directions. Dunkeld is one of the most historic and picturesque villages in Scotland. Known as The Gateway to the Highlands and set in the heart of Perthshire's Big Tree Country, the stunning scenery, landscapes and wildlife has made the area hugely popular with visitors to Scotland.

Highland Perthshire is the adventure capital of Scotland and for those seeking adrenaline fuelled activities there's no shortage of options; Hire a mountain bike and take advantage of the many fantastic bike trails the area has to offer or perhaps brave the Highland Fling Bungee at Killiecrankie. The magnificent River Tay is famous for the quality of its salmon fishing.
