Our family had a wonderful time at Glen Ardle Lodge. Beautiful house and surrounding area. Owner couldn't have been more helpful and on hand for any queries we had. We all had a great time, will definitely booking again.
What an amazing holiday rental this was. Extremely spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings. There's a large open plan kitchen, lounge, diner complete with Sky TV and grand piano. Fabulous views of the tree lined valley.

Glenardle Lodge is a spacious, contemporary holiday house occupying an idyllic rural location in the village of Bridge of Cally, Perthshire. Set high on the riverbank with views over the wooded Glen Ardle and hills beyond, this very special home offers a secluded and peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind.
Sleeping 8 + 2 Glenardle Lodge is of modern design and offers the best in terms of ease of living and comfort. A wood-burning stove in the large open plan living room creates a welcoming warmth and atmosphere for relaxing.
The open plan layout of the large kitchen and living space is a fabulous area for socialising whilst preparing meals.
Accommodating up to 10 guests in 4 generously proportioned bedrooms Glenardle Lodge offers flexible and extremely comfortable self-catering accommodtion. Three of the rooms have king size double beds and the third ‘family’ room has a zip and link: a super king size, which can, on request, be converted into 2 singles; as well as a large sofa bed. Two of the rooms have en suite shower rooms, there is also a large family bathroom, while the third bedroom on the ground floor is adjacent to a shower room.
Large entrance vestibule which has ample hanging/storage space for
coats/shoes/boots, skis etc. Spacious main hall provides access to the ground floor rooms and staircase to the upper floor.
Drying/boot room with sink, washing machine and pulley for drying.
Large open-plan living area with full height windows allowing uninteruppted views across the garden. For wildlife enthusiasts feeders provide hours of pleasure watching the birds, red squirrels, pheasant, and other visiting wildlife.
With ample comfortable seating, TV and DVD player (including freesat TV) this is a wonderful space to retire to in the evening in front of the wood-burning stove. For musicians, the grand piano provides an added attraction.
The open-plan kitchen is very well equipped with an induction hob, double oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Dining table seating up to ten.
Glen Ardle Lodge is heated with underfloor heating (radiators upstairs) by wood pellet central heating and there is a wood-burning stove in the open-plan living room (initial supply of logs provided).

The house has a large garden with patio, garden furniture and gas BBQ.
There is ample parking on the private driveway.

Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement ( 2 max) £25 per pet.
A refundable good housekeeping deposit of £250 will be required.
The village shop/post office, 2 bars /restaurants (Bridge of Cally Hotel and The Woodside Bar) and ski hire are all within 5/10 minutes walking distance of Glen Ardle Lodge.
This area of Scotland offers wonderful opportunities for both on and off road cycling. The Forest trails of Blackcraig Hill are accessed by the trail behind the Bridge of Cally Hotel and allow you to create a variety of routes dependant on how long or challenging you wish to make your outing. The forest is full of deer and other wild life and the views north at the far end of Blackcraig Forest, looking down on Loch Charles are stunning. The Cateran Trail is a great hiking/cycling trail. The views on the section from Enochdu to Spittal of Glenshee are just spectacular. Just 25 minutes from Glenshee, Glen Ardle Lodge Pines is ideally located to access the slopes when the snow arrives. The area has a prolific population of wildlife as might be expected. Otters are to be found further up the Ardle and wild ospreys have nested for years up on Blackcraig Hill.
