We had a lovely stay in the Old Mill House over Christmas. Our hosts had spoiled us with decorations, local produce and even a tiny Christmas tree. Enjoyed hiking up to Loch Moraig on our first day right out the house. Stunning landscape and a warm fire and bath to come back to. Many thanks
Hi Bea, Thanks for making our Xmas in the Cairngorms so special. Your lovely touches of decorations, and the local produce were very well received.
"Delightful cottage, fantastic natural environment" Stephano, Italy
Great house with wonderful, stylish facilities in a grandiose environment. Great for trips to the central Highlands, to Pitlochry, to whiskey distilleries and more. Nature surrounds this house and garden, you do not need much more for holiday happiness !!! Many thanks to the hosts. We will be back. There is so much to discover.
Hello and thank you for the opportunity to stay in "The Old Mill". We felt right at home. Everything was perfect. Charming ambience and beautiful area a great base for excursions. We would be very happy to come back. Best regards Christa
The Old Mill is a very cute and cosy location, a bit hidden behind trees and the neighbors houses, on the slope of a hill. It was a perfect starting point for our trips in the Central Highland region. The communication with Bea, from Home From Home Perthshire was very good. She solved almost immediately our little wifi problem which, at hindsight, seems to be a bigger 'problem' in the more remote areas of Scotland. Gert
Really loved staying at The Old Mill. Beautiful location, great walks in the surrounding area, easy access from the A9. The place was great, really cosy, lovely well kept garden and perfect for a group. We already want to go back!
One of the best equipped cottages we have ever stayed in. The welcome pack was fabulous. I guess you could make mentioned of that in the booking details, it was a very lovely surprise. for us.
We are definitely planning on coming back :)
"We have looked forward to this short stay and it did not disappoint. Of the several places we have stayed in Scotland, it is the nicest. The location is idyllic and the cottage beautifully equipped and furnished."
Beautifully located property providing home from home facilities for all your needs
Wonderful location with beautiful scenery with walks for us and the dogs. Brilliant location for visits to Perth and Inverness and family in Kirriemuir and Newtonmore
We have really enjoyed our stay in the Old Mill. It really is home from home. It's one of the best cottages we have stayed in - lovely setting, beautiful area and so quiet we have lunch sitting in the garden. Really comfortable. We will be back again.
Just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the owners of the Old Mill for letting us have the place to ourselves for those 4 days at such a short notice. The Old Mill is a fantastic place with all the comfort from home away from home all this with fantastic views and total quietness around! We feel all recharged again!!! Hopefully we'll be back in Perthshire before the end of the year! Thanks again, Mani

Like many rural properties in Scotland The Old Mill takes its water from a hill supply. The supply is full treated and inspected annually by Perth and Kinross Council to ensure it meets the stringent requirements for private water supplies. Occasionally after heavy rain the peat in the ground causes the water to become brown in colour - it remains completely safe to drink.
