Thank you for our lovely weekend away. This break has meant more to us than you could have imagined. We have been able to spend time together as a family and make wonderful memories.

This quiet little cottage has been just what we needed and we hope to return soon. Hopefully next time we might meet the peacock !

We have enjoyed many self-catering holidays in Scotland but this has to be my favourite cottage ! Don`t want to go home.... We also visited the Highland Wildlife Park - its a great day out !

Just 5 miles north of Pitlochry, Urrard Estate has a proud history dating back hundreds of years and encompasses the Killiecrankie Battlefield where the legendary conflict took place in 1689. This charming whitewashed holiday cottage enjoys a peaceful,rural setting within the extensive grounds of Urrard house in Highland Perthshire. Sleeping 2-4 its welcoming interior provides elegant & extremely comfortable self catering accommodation, whilst the outside is truly captivating with peacocks wandering freely on the lawns and glimpses of the heather clad hills that form the backdrop for the estate.

Accommodation comprises:                                                                                           

Entrance porch with log store, cosy living room comfy sofas and wood burning stove,TV & DVD, family bathroom with shower over bath, light and airy kitchen with dining table and french doors onto the patio. The newly fitted kitchen is very well equipped with washing machine, tumble dryer, elecrtic oven, microwave and fridge freezer.Upstairs are two bedrooms - one double and one twin room.

All heating, electric, logs, towels and bed linen are included.

For outdoor enthusiasts Urrard offers hills teeming with wildlife and over 2000 acres of mountains, hills and glorious highland moorland to explore. Fishing and stalking are available by arrangement on the estate whilst the cycling & mountain biking opportunities are endless.
The hamlet of Killiecrankie is within easy strolling distance and is home to the National Trust Visitor Centre and fascinating Soldier’s Leap.
A few miles further north you will find Blair Atholl, home to Blair Castle- ancient seat of the Dukes of Atholl. Shopaholics will love the House of Bruar, the Harrods of the north located at Calvine (9m) from Urrard Estate.
