Hi Bea, We had a wonderful time at the Bank. We instantly relaxed the moment we walked through the door! We were very impressed by the home comforts, interior design and high standard of finish. The Bank is also really well-equipped, we wanted for nothing. Location wise it's perfect, a peaceful village feel but close to the A9 to access farther afield quickly and easily. All in all a fantastic visit and we wished we could have stayed longer!

Hello Bea, Just wanted to say what a lovely stay we had at The Bank in Blair Atholl. Its a lovely ground floor apartment for 2, beautifully decorated and everything you could need. The bed was super comfy too and we slept like babies. A big thankyou to the owner for this first class stay.

Good afternoon Bea I just wanted to say what a thoroughly wonderful week we've had staying at The Bank. We've really enjoyed staying at such a beautiful house in such an amazing location. Susan has done a terrific job turning this into such a lovely holiday home. The facilities and quality on offer are second to none, from the bedroom to stunningly well equipped kitchen/bathroom. Everything has been thought of and provided and the welcome gifts were a wonderful little gesture. Extremely comfortable living area and really appreciated the thought in providing boosters for the internet in each room. Have stayed in many self catering cottages and this was one of the best. Please pass on my genuine thanks to Susan for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home and feel free to use any of this as reference for other guests. Bernie Hayes

Enjoying a convenient location in the heart of Blair Atholl, in highland Perthshire, this stylish conversion of the former village bank offers unique and welcoming holiday accommodation. Completely restored and refurbished to a very high standard the relaxed and inviting atmosphere of this unique holiday home makes it the perfect base for walking, exploring or simply relaxing and watching the world go by.

Former bank vault now houses SMEG fridge freezer and larder shelving

Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer

Elegant bedroom with ample storage and zip-link beds that can be configured as either a king-size double bed or as twin beds 

Large, contemporary shower room with walk-in shower and heated towel rail



There is private parking for guests in the front driveway and also great transport links via the mainline train station (5 mins walk) or bus stop on the main street (2 mins walk)

Storage is available for bikes and sporting equipment, also hose for washing of bikes

The owner lives upstairs in the main house and is happy to share the back garden with guests



Opportunities abound for a wide variety of interests and outdoor pursuits. Visitors can walk, cycle or run on the many waymarked trails of Atholl Estates. Numerous Munro's and Corbett's are within walking distance of The Bank.

A short walk from The Bank is Blair Atholl Watermill and tearoom. One of Scotland's oldest working water mills, It continues to stone grind oatmeal and flours for sale and for use in the mills hugely popular tea room.

Directly across the road from The Bank is the main entrance to Blair Castle and grounds.

The  village of Blair Atholl, stands right where the beautiful countryside of Perthshire meets the wilder mountain scenery of the Cairngorm National Park.  The Grampian Mountains, with skiing at Aviemore are just fifty miles north.
