Just to say we thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Roneval, much better now that a gate and fencing have been applied to the garden, making it really dog friendly. So much so that we have now booked for 2022. Plenty of lovely walks from the door, down to Loch Faskally and around Pitlochry, or walk to further to Loch Dunmore or up to Cuilc Brae then on to Moulin or Craigower, or if really active up to Ben Vrackie. In the other direction, through the woods to Pitlochry and the Salmon Dam, then on to Black Spout Wood. Think we only used the car a couple of times. A really good stocked co-op, very handy and a lovely Butchers. Plenty of cafes to choose from and the very dog friendly Pitlochry Golf Club. Such a lovely comfortable warm house, very relaxing looking over the hills, everything we needed was available. Fresh eggs from the house up the hill, what more could you want. We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Bothy. The location was stunning and secluded with amazing views across the countryside. The Bothy itself is beautifully designed (especially the kitchen/dining area!), and perfect for a short break away. Bea very helpfully sent through very clear directions as I think the Satnav would’ve had some trouble finding it. There were some lovely welcoming touches which were very much appreciated. Excellent communication from Bea throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend The Bothy to anyone looking for a calm and tranquil stay away in the Perthshire countryside.

Good afternoon Bea I just wanted to say what a thoroughly wonderful week we've had staying at The Bank. We've really enjoyed staying at such a beautiful home in such an amazing location. Susan has done a terrific job turning this into such a lovely holiday home. The facilities and quality on offer are second to none, from the bedroom to stunningly well equipped kitchen/bathroom. Everything has been thought of and provided and the welcome gifts were a wonderful little gesture. Extremely comfortable living area and really appreciated the thought in providing boosters for the internet in each room. Have stayed in many self catering cottages and this was definitely one of the best. Please pass on my genuine thanks to Susan for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home and feel free to use any of this as reference for other guests. Bernie Hayes
