" This was our second visit to Ruggles and we once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ruggles is a well equipped accommodation with a period feel to the main room, high ceilings and circular stair al add to this with the fireplace and large stove setting of the room and offering a lovely central feature and indeed warmth in the winter months. We enjoyed our cosy setting with the views from the large windows across the burn to the trees and sky beyond. "

" We had a lovely 4 day holiday over new year again. We have used Yeomans House many times and its a great base for the Pitlochry new year celebrations. The new year dancing and music on the main street on New year’s day is always fun. Great restaurants and bars near at hand always have a wonderful atmosphere. "

" We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the
cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going
whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms
worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is
stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the
bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and
were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our
second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again. "
