"Following a previous visit to Lettoch Cottages, we returned after Covid and life threw some curve balls at our holiday plans. Despite the 7 year absence, Steve & Kirsty welcomed us back to The Cow Shed with their usual warm hospitality. Little touches like checking in with us as they were not going to be home when we initially arrived, to ensuring we were able to still function when Storm Amy popped in were much appreciated. The views are just spectacular whatever the weather and certainly nourish the soul. The Cow Shed is well equipped, comfortable, warm and spacious and the added attraction of the squirrels, birds and deer are a welcome bonus. "

"One of my favourite places I've ever stayed. It's a beautifully designed space in a spectacular, quiet location with views and wildlife everywhere. Everything is clean and comfortable with special touches like heated floors, high quality linens, a powerful shower and a huge wood burner. Parking is right outside with easy access to the main road north and south. Such a great find! "

All that was needed was a match. The attention to detail is evident in the beautiful furnishings, as well as in details like the bird feeders placed precisely in front of the kitchen window. We had a lovely stay in this well-maintained, peaceful home. The house is fairly new and offers a lot of convenience, from the ease of using the heating to the ample amenities, including a large fridge-freezer and plenty of towels for both the bathroom and kitchen. We especially appreciated the quiet location, with its close proximity to town and the shortcut through the woods via the back gate. Parking was hassle-free, and the garage was available for storing bikes, which was a nice touch once we located the keys. We would stay again!
