The Boating Station at Loch Faskally is great for breakfast, and we met up with the local friends there that we have met at Pitlochry over the years. "Very clean and comfortable house with an interesting history. . well equipped and nicely decorated. 2 bathrooms, one with an over- the- bath shower, the other with a walk-in shower. Dishwasher and washing machine. Nice outside space with picnic bench and a wee burn at the end of the garden. . 1 mile up the hill from Pitlochry town with easy parking just over the road in the local square. Food available in the pub next door. "

"There were a few unexpected highlights. The Highland Night at the recreation ground on Monday nights was a surprise for us. A Pipeband, dancers and entertainment for toe-tapping and clapping (an outside entertainment so dogs welcome). We also discovered Menzies Castle near Aberfeldy. A very authentic and unspoiled piece of Scottish history. "

Had a lovely week yet again in Roneval. So handy for walks down to the Loch and into town through the woods. The house is very comfortable and clean. Enjoyed seeing the pheasants & grouse in the garden.

Another delightful week in Cow Shed 2. As ever the cottage was spotless and cosy. We feel welcomed by owners Steve and Kirsty and are privileged to visit their lovely corner of Perthshire.
