Hi Bea, we had a wonderful 2 weeks at Roneval again this year. Already booked for 2024.
Such a warm & comfortable house & Beautiful gardens, plenty of parking. Enjoyed watching the Red Squirrel coming and burying his nuts in the garden. 2 Pheasants visited as well & a ginger cat. Lovely walks from the door upwards or level. Good food at the Golf Club, Escape Route café (both very dog friendly) The Boathouse (dogs outside only) but lovely view down the Loch. Nice walks from the main car park in Dunkeld and good food at The Athol Arms Hotel (also dog friendly). Lovely walk to Loch Dunmore (Charged parking now) and also around Loch Faskally to the Salmon Ladder & The Festival Theatre.

Well, we thought it was a beautiful cottage in a very well placed location. Perfect for walking the dogs as you're only a short walk to the duck pond and onwards to Killiecrankie. Then when you're ready for a drink and some food it's only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Pitlochry.

This home was positively delightful and my family wanted to stay the summer there. The decor was tasteful and comfortable, and the layout was perfect for 6 guests. The view from the dining room was spectacular and the location was a very short walk from Pitlochry center. We would strongly recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting a taste of Pitlochry.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roneval and would definitely
recommend it. It’s in an ideal location within a short walk
of the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants of Pitlochry.
The house was very clean and comfortable with great views,
a lovely garden and plenty room for parking.
In particular, the food at the Old Mill Inn and
the ice creams from Scotch Corner were worth the
visit. Also a trip to House of Bruar was great on
a rainy day. There are lovely walks directly from the
house and the exhibition centre at the Dam was
very informative. Overall a great stay and would
definitely return.

What a lovely place to stay! We enjoyed a great family pre-Christmas break here. The house is really spacious, with more room than even the photos suggest. Heating is great and decor really modern and cosy. Bedrooms comfy and bathrooms really nice. Everywhere was super clean and well equipped. Just a short walk into Pitlochry town centre.

Good Morning Bea, just to let you know we had another wonderful 2 weeks at Roneval, plenty of walks from the door and further afield, such a super home from home. Lovely and quiet house, but easy walk into Pitlochry. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, can recommend the Golf Club, Escape Route Cafe (lovely Cullen Skink with a huge sandwich) & the Coffee Break (all very dog friendly), lovely view from the Boat House Cafe overlooking Loch Faskally {dogs outside only).

A delightful spacious house down a quiet lane on the edge of town. Lots of easy parking with entrance directly into the kitchen vestibule so unloading a car is made simple. Bright, modern, open plan and tastefully decorated describes it best

Amazing property in an amazing location. Lovely, big private garden which gives it a sense of space, even though really close to centre of Pitlochry. The house is bigger than it looks and really well equipped. Location is perfect for a wander into Pitlochry as well as exploring the area through easy access on to main routes. Can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely time at Roneval again this year, so much so that we have already booked for visit number 3 next year. The accommodation was very clean and well presented. The location in Pitlochry is ideal for all amenities in the town especially the putting green and corner ice cream shop for our grandson.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Roneval, comfortable and clean and with all of the associated comforts to help us. Access to local hills and walks and the proximity of the railway station and amenities meant we didn’t have to use the car.

It was great that the house was so secluded and private, plus our wee dog loved exploring the many sniffs in the huge garden.

Fantastic roomy stylish house and exceptionally clean. Had a extra TV /kids room too. Decorated for Christmas for us with tree and quality table decorations. Lovely views from living/dining room & private big garden. Loads of Dvds to choose from and a few games. Well equipped for cooking a meal in. A 5 mins walk to the centre of Pitlochry. We had a lovely few days!

Roneval is a delightful holiday home. Not only is it well equipped and comfortable, the location is excellent being just a short step into the main street of Pitlochry with it’s quirky shops and excellent eateries. We would most definitely like to stay again

Just to say we thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Roneval, much better now that a gate and fencing have been applied to the garden, making it really dog friendly. So much so that we have now booked for 2022. Plenty of lovely walks from the door, down to Loch Faskally and around Pitlochry, or walk to further to Loch Dunmore or up to Cuilc Brae then on to Moulin or Craigower, or if really active up to Ben Vrackie. In the other direction, through the woods to Pitlochry and the Salmon Dam, then on to Black Spout Wood. Think we only used the car a couple of times. A really good stocked co-op, very handy and a lovely Butchers. Plenty of cafes to choose from and the very dog friendly Pitlochry Golf Club. Such a lovely comfortable warm house, very relaxing looking over the hills, everything we needed was available. Fresh eggs from the house up the hill, what more could you want.

Roneval is a lovely, homely cottage. Its been very tastefully decorated and has all the home comforts. It’s great place to stay while enjoying a holiday in Perthshire and ideally situated for walking into Pitlochry town too. We were very fortunate with our weather and enjoyed sitting out on the deck to make the most of the sunshine.

We would just like to say that our holiday in Roneval from 19th September to 3rd October 2020, was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Plenty of Gel wash and wipes. Fantastic walks from the door, we only used the car twice in the fortnight. Lovely warm and clean house. Excellent location. Lovely views from the dining room to the hills. Fantastic little spot for reading my kindle next to the dining table. So good, we have booked another fortnight in 2021. Excellent coffee and scones at the Escape Cafe at the other end of town and lovely meal in the Golf Club (dogs allowed). Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from.

Lovely place in great location to explore the area. We stayed as a party of 5 (4 adults and a 3 year old) and found the place perfect for our needs. Very clean and neat, and lovely light space. We saw red squirrels, pheasants and lots of wee birds in the garden! Play room in particular was just brilliant - great space for our wee man to play with a great selection of games and DVDs. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again in future. Many thanks!

Excellent stay at Roneval in Pitlochry, lovely and spacious house, beautiful garden, shame it is not fully enclosed with a gate for the dog. So many walks from the door, we didn’t travel very far at all. Have now booked Roneval for two weeks next year, to enable us to explore further afield. Plenty of dog friendly cafes and restaurants nearby, lovely walk to the Golf Club, Biba, sitting outside the Lochside Boathouse cafe, to name just a few.

Ground Floor:
Wonderful open plan accommodation with central livingroom with ample comfortable seating, TV and DVD. A feature wood burning stove ensures guests will be cosy all year round.
Adjacent to the main living area the sun room is a fabulous space with large ceiling to floor Scandinavian windows and glass panel doors leading out onto the raised decking area. The dining table and open aspect makes this the perfect space for formal dining or relaxation and socialising.
The well equipped kitchen includes integrated electric hob and oven with stainless steel extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave and fridge freezer. A washing machine is housed in the utility area.
Family Bathroom with WC, wash hand basin and bath with shower over. Heated towel rail.

A £100 refundable good housekeeping deposit will be required.
