Star of stage and Hollywood A-lister Alan Cumming, is the current Artistic Director. Right next door is the Explorers Garden, opened in 2003. This 2.5-acre site celebrates 300 years of botanical exploration by Scottish plant hunters and features an amphitheatre, woodland walks, and a diverse range of rare and exotic plants. Just a short stroll away, visitors can explore the Pitlochry Power Station and Dam, where the iconic salmon ladder allows a fascinating glimpse of fish leaping upstream during spawning season.

Lovely place in great location to explore the area. We stayed as a party of 5 (4 adults and a 3 year old) and found the place perfect for our needs. Very clean and neat, and lovely light space. We saw red squirrels, pheasants and lots of wee birds in the garden! Play room in particular was just brilliant - great space for our wee man to play with a great selection of games and DVDs. Very happy with our stay and would definitely stay again in future. Many thanks!

Hi Bea Just to let you know that we returned from our holiday staying at Roneval yesterday. We had a wonderful time and were really impressed with the accommodation. Well situated, lovely outside area to sit in the evening sun. The service from Home from Home was good and we will recommend you and the property. Definitely 5 stars.

The garden is a brilliant asset, we loved spending time in it as did our dog. It's very private too and not overlooked. The house was spotlessly clean and there was a hoover, mop etc that we could use throughout our stay.
