Ruggles Cottage, Comrie ↗

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again. "

"Good Morning Bea, just to let you know we had another wonderful 2 weeks at Roneval, plenty of walks from the door and further afield, such a super home from home. Lovely and quiet house, but easy walk into Pitlochry. Plenty of cafes and restaurants, can recommend the Golf Club, Escape Route Cafe (lovely Cullen Skink with a huge sandwich) & the Coffee Break (all very dog friendly), lovely view from the Boat House Cafe overlooking Loch Faskally {dogs outside only). "

"We had a lovely stay in this well-maintained, peaceful home. The house is fairly new and offers a lot of convenience, from the ease of using the heating to the ample amenities, including a large fridge-freezer and plenty of towels for both the bathroom and kitchen. We especially appreciated the quiet location, with its close proximity to town and the shortcut through the woods via the back gate. Parking was hassle-free, and the garage was available for storing bikes, which was a nice touch once we located the keys. We would stay again! "

Excellent stay at Roneval in Pitlochry, lovely and spacious house, beautiful garden, shame it is not fully enclosed with a gate for the dog. So many walks from the door, we didn’t travel very far at all. Have now booked Roneval for two weeks next year, to enable us to explore further afield. Plenty of dog friendly cafes and restaurants nearby, lovely walk to the Golf Club, Biba, sitting outside the Lochside Boathouse cafe, to name just a few.

A spacious and well-equipped apartment in the centre of Pitlochry. Spotlessly clean, a good shower, and very comfortable beds. The selection of coffee, tea, biscuits and porridge was a nice touch. Would happily stay here again. Highly recommended.
