"Hi Bea, the Stables was our third booking with HFHP, and like the others, did not disappoint. It’s a fantastic bolthole for 2, with lots of lovely touches. We particularly appreciated the views, the generous seating options and the lighting, plus the two full bathrooms, I don’t think we’ve stayed anywhere for 2 so well thought out. Also, the kitchen was well equipped, and cottage was immaculately clean. "

"We were a family of three visiting Pitlochry with three adult Australian relatives. Their son is married to a Pitlochry girl and they are currently living in Pitlochry with their young son. Quite a family get together. We were absolutely delighted with the Snug. It is very spacious and so well equipped, all the expected items plus much more e.g. a slate cheese board, lovely whisky tumblers. The quality of all furnishings and equipment is of a very high quality. We had a wonderful stay and my daughter has found her ideal style of home "

"I was born and brought up in Pitlochry. We decided to spend Christmas in the town so we could spend time with my mum who is in hospital. This property is absolutely fabulous, two generous bedrooms, a good size sitting room and kitchen plus a beautiful garden overlooking the woods.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and festive. "We loved our stay at The Snug it’s a very comfortable spacious home. It is very well equipped for self catering with a lovely big oven and fridge. All the rooms are a generous size with the benefits of two bathrooms. We stayed in October so didn’t enjoy the beautiful garden as a stay in summer would allow. Although on the outskirts of Pitlochry it’s an easy car ride to town or a great walk bus Edradour Distillery and into Moulin. We loved the peace and quiet of this secret pocket in Croftinloan. The owners have thought of everything to make this home a great place to stay. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Otter Lodge. Very comfortable clean and well equipped. Very relaxing right by the river Tilt. A lovely sound to help you relax whilst sitting on the deck. Sadly the weather could have been better but we still enjoyed the local area and relaxing back at the lodge with a glass of wine out on the deck. The ducks came to be fed and provide entertainment. Vrackie View was an ideal size for us all to celebrate my husbands birthday celebrations. It was spacious with plenty of seating in the livingroom and diningroom area with a well equiped spacious kitchen.It was also in a lovely, very peaceful street with beautiful views.The garden at the back was also a large secluded area hardly overlooked at all. We found The Stables an excellent venue. The photos presented the accommodation well and we were not disappointed in the quality and care taken to present the rooms; all done to a very high standard. Modern, but still in keeping with the Perthshire countryside outside. We could not fault the venue. Excellent for couples who enjoy walking and the outdoors.

Beautiful and charming home, perfect location for exploring the area. We had plenty space in the communal areas and also big bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone, perfect for a big group or family stay
