"We were a family of three visiting Pitlochry with three adult Australian relatives. Their son is married to a Pitlochry girl and they are currently living in Pitlochry with their young son. Quite a family get together. We were absolutely delighted with the Snug. It is very spacious and so well equipped, all the expected items plus much more e.g. a slate cheese board, lovely whisky tumblers. The quality of all furnishings and equipment is of a very high quality. We had a wonderful stay and my daughter has found her ideal style of home "

"I was born and brought up in Pitlochry. We decided to spend Christmas in the town so we could spend time with my mum who is in hospital. This property is absolutely fabulous, two generous bedrooms, a good size sitting room and kitchen plus a beautiful garden overlooking the woods.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and festive. "We loved our stay at The Snug it’s a very comfortable spacious home. It is very well equipped for self catering with a lovely big oven and fridge. All the rooms are a generous size with the benefits of two bathrooms. We stayed in October so didn’t enjoy the beautiful garden as a stay in summer would allow. Although on the outskirts of Pitlochry it’s an easy car ride to town or a great walk bus Edradour Distillery and into Moulin. We loved the peace and quiet of this secret pocket in Croftinloan. The owners have thought of everything to make this home a great place to stay. "

"We really enjoyed our short stay and wished we’d had longer to appreciate the flat, the spacious comfortable lounge, the lovely decor and all the lovely little touches like lemongrass shower products. We’re relatively new to self-catering but have stayed in four this year. This knocked the others into a cocked hat! I honestly can’t think of anything I’d improve. It was all great! Thanks for a lovely stay at this well situated and quiet cottage on the outskirts of Pitlochry. It is a fantastic base for exploring all that Pitlochry and the local area have to offer. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and it was lovely to have the spacious garden to enjoy the sunshine and the wildlife in the adjoining woods. On lots of days we just walked straight from the cottage to enjoy the Pitlochry walking trails, the town and the Theatre.


August 2025
The pretty, local village, Comrie, had everything we needed to buy and we dined out one evening at the Royal Hotel where the food was excellent. Aberfeldy and Pitlochry were good places to visitant as was Drummond Castle and gardens in Crieff. Drives to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry were highlights with lovely scenery and walks. The weather was unbelievably good.
