"Just to say we thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Roneval, much better now that a gate and fencing have been applied to the garden, making it really dog friendly. So much so that we have now booked for 2022. Plenty of lovely walks from the door, down to Loch Faskally and around Pitlochry, or walk to further to Loch Dunmore or up to Cuilc Brae then on to Moulin or Craigower, or if really active up to Ben Vrackie. In the other direction, through the woods to Pitlochry and the Salmon Dam, then on to Black Spout Wood. Think we only used the car a couple of times. A really good stocked co-op, very handy and a lovely Butchers. Plenty of cafes to choose from and the very dog friendly Pitlochry Golf Club. Such a lovely comfortable warm house, very relaxing looking over the hills, everything we needed was available. Fresh eggs from the house up the hill, what more could you want. "North Shore is a fantastic place to stay, one of the best we`ve stayed in. From the lounge, we watched two red squirrels chasing each other round and round one of the oak trees just the other side of the garden fence. It’s a plus to be able to go straight into the woods and down to the loch from the back garden. We’d definitely recommend the cottage. "

"Lovely apartment with top quality and detail. Beautiful furnishings and crockery , lovely comfy bed and bedding. Stunning bathroom and kitchen ( love open plan with both dining table and comfortable sofas & massive TV . The flooring throughout is perfect , no need for slippers. Lovely private garden but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy as it was a wedding weekend but next time for sure. Goodies left too as in oatcakes , shortbread, tea, coffee, sugar etc I’d say this is a pretty perfect apartment in beautiful peaceful grounds in our favourite place in Scotland. We felt truly spoilt. "Don’t miss out on this gem of a cottage in a fantastic location. It’s a very well equipped cottage with a lovely garden area. It’s a very comfortable place to stay and the log burner made the cottage very cosy in the evening. Has the most wonderful shower, comfy bed and has a small but perfectly equipped kitchen with everything you need including washing machine, dishwasher and a coffee machine. The owners attention to detail is second to none with clever storage ideas and hanging hooks galore! You can never get enough hooks! A short walk takes you down by the river and into bustling Dunkeld with lovely shops and a few nice places to eat, drink or stop for coffee. We will most definitely be returning in the near future. "

"Gorgeous views on a stunning location. Impossible not to be amazed by this peaceful spot. The walk to the loch in the hills comes highly recommended. We stayed with a family with 2 small kids and they loved it as well. All you need, including a baby high chair and some games to play for our toddler. Warm welcome, and some suggestions in the house. "“A beautiful house - very comfortable and very tastefully furnished. We had the most amazing week here. Enjoyed the wildlife in the garden, including the red squirrel who visits daily. Highly recommend canyoning and white water rafting, so exciting especially when an osprey flies down low over the River Tay. Beautiful walks nearby. Livvy’s bakery, the butcher, fish and chips are fab shops. The Taybank Hotel and Atholl Hotel are good for meals. Definitely be back next year! Thank you. “ "

We had a lovely stay at Schiehallion Cottage. With it's beautiful views and well equipped house, it was the perfect place to stay. We had some lovely bike rides (thanks to having a place to store the bikes) and really enjoyed exploring the area. We found The Stables an excellent venue. The photos presented the accommodation well and we were not disappointed in the quality and care taken to present the rooms; all done to a very high standard. Modern, but still in keeping with the Perthshire countryside outside. We could not fault the venue. Excellent for couples who enjoy walking and the outdoors.
