Walks straight out of the door and up the hill where we could have kept going all the way to Aviemore, if we had been of a mind to do so! Already looking at how and when we can return. " Hi Bea, the Stables was our third booking with HFHP, and like the others, did not disappoint. It’s a fantastic bolthole for 2, with lots of lovely touches. We particularly appreciated the views, the generous seating options and the lighting, plus the two full bathrooms, I don’t think we’ve stayed anywhere for 2 so well thought out. Also, the kitchen was well equipped, and cottage was immaculately clean. "

" We were a family of three visiting Pitlochry with three adult Australian relatives. Their son is married to a Pitlochry girl and they are currently living in Pitlochry with their young son. Quite a family get together. We were absolutely delighted with the Snug. It is very spacious and so well equipped, all the expected items plus much more e.g. a slate cheese board, lovely whisky tumblers. The quality of all furnishings and equipment is of a very high quality. We had a wonderful stay and my daughter has found her ideal style of home "

" I was born and brought up in Pitlochry. We decided to spend Christmas in the town so we could spend time with my mum who is in hospital. This property is absolutely fabulous, two generous bedrooms, a good size sitting room and kitchen plus a beautiful garden overlooking the woods.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and festive. We will definitely be back. "

" What a lovely place to stay! We enjoyed a great family pre-Christmas break here. The house is really spacious, with more room than even the photos suggest. Heating is great and decor really modern and cosy. Bedrooms comfy and bathrooms really nice. Everywhere was super clean and well equipped. Just a short walk into Pitlochry town centre. "

" Very well equipped,warm, comfortable cottage, in a beautiful part of Scotland. Would be even more amazing in the summer when the sun is out! Locals very friendly. Real easy to get into town walking which has everything you need. Lots of opportunity to explore the area. Great that you were dog friendly. Our dog, Mac, enjoyed the holiday too. " Re our recent stay at The Cow Shed our feedback for future guests is wholly positive - the property was clean and super cosy, the owners helpful and friendly but not intrusive. So lovely to have an unlimited supply of logs for the wood burner. Plenty of useful information about the area and further afield available in the cottage. " Mum and I had a fabulous week at Tigh Monadh. It was so lovely and quiet, clean, warm and comfortable with everything you could need. The owners are lovely and the welcome pack was just wonderful. Above and beyond expectations. There was just the two of us, and two dogs, but the cottage would be just as comfortable with four people. It was ideal for mum who is 81, as it was on one level with two small low steps at the front door. Highly recommend
