Steve and Kirsty are so welcoming and have thought of everything to make the place feel like home. It's spotless, cosy and in the best location. We visited Ben Nevis but chose to stay locally for the remainder of our stay, never wanting to go far because we couldn't wait to return to this beautiful holiday home and relax. "North Shire was a beautiful place to stay, a cosy and comfertable little cottage with all you needed, some lovely extra touches including Christmas trees and lights. A lovely secure garden for our dogs and back gate opening right to the woods and the banks of the loch was brilliant. A really nice area, and a short 10 minute walk to centre of town. We love Pitlochry and usually stay in hotel or B &B, but this was a great choice and would highly recommend this home. "

"We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Bothy over the New Year period. The location is utterly stunning, with wide-ranging views across the valley, and it’s perfectly placed for exploring the Cairngorms and their beautiful landscapes. The home itself is thoughtfully decorated — we felt very at home from the moment we arrived. We experienced a minor weather-related issue due to the sub-zero temperatures, but Bea and Stuart were extremely helpful and responsive, with great communication throughout. A truly beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. "

We stayed the week the location was perfect and everything we needed was in the house. The location is perfect for getting the dogs straight out into the woods and easy walking distance into town, the dam and theatre are all within easy walking distance. A perfect retreat

The Denton family have enjoyed another holiday at Ruggles. The cottage is beautifully equipped. We enjoy the lovely garden and the walks from the cottage. I’m sure we will return next year. The family play golf at St Fillans We enjoy eating at Crieff Golf Club in the evenings. We made a visit to Cultybraggan Camp near Comrie.

Lovely place to stay. Well-equipped and very comfortable. Enjoyed watching the swallows and House martins flying around the property. Great local walking from the house. Hopefully will return sometime.
