This was our 4th visit to the Auld Smiddy. We love the location of the cottage and the cottage itself is excellent. Being next door to the Moulin Inn is ideal. The cottage is easy walking distance to the town of Pitlochry too. We have 2 small dogs and the layout of the house and the fully enclosed garden and decking area are perfect for the dogs. There was nothing nicer than sitting in the Dining Area with the door open listening to the birds and the little stream running behind the garden. So relaxing! There are so many lovely walks to do from the cottage. Perthshire has so much to offer. We definitely would love to return.

We had a fantastic time at Schiehallion Cottage. Great weather, great wee cottage! Favorite thing - Sitting on the new bench in the sun looking over the mountains.

Good afternoon Bea I just wanted to say what a thoroughly wonderful week we've had staying at The Bank. We've really enjoyed staying at such a beautiful home in such an amazing location. Susan has done a terrific job turning this into such a lovely holiday home. The facilities and quality on offer are second to none, from the bedroom to stunningly well equipped kitchen/bathroom. Everything has been thought of and provided and the welcome gifts were a wonderful little gesture. Extremely comfortable living area and really appreciated the thought in providing boosters for the internet in each room. Have stayed in many self catering cottages and this was definitely one of the best.
