"Off the beaten track, quiet, comfortable cottage with all you need to self cater if you don't want to eat out. Walks directly from the cottage available so you don't have to drive, plenty of activities in the local area. Local shops for food available in Pitlochry. Highlights - The location of the property and the spectacular views over the adjacent and surrounding hills were an ideal location. Walking up Ben Vrackie gave a great view. Visiting Dunkeld and sitting in the cathedral grounds was a great day out. "

"Perfection! The Cow Shed is definitely a five-star accommodation with a beautiful pastoral view of mountains and sheep. The cottage itself was immaculate and of very high quality. My husband and I are very picky about cleanliness and peace and quiet, and the Cow Shed was perfect in this regard plus extremely beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. It is a perfect base for spending time in the Perthshire area and for taking longer day trips with the perk of returning to the Cow Shed for a relaxing evening. We were a party of four and rented both Cow Shed and Cow Shed 2 and would return in a heartbeat! "

"Another most enjoyable stay at one of our favourite places to take a holiday. The Cow Shed was, once again, perfect for our needs. We love the quiet peaceful environment & the amazing views along the valley. A great base to explore Perthshire from. We enjoyed ascending Cairngorm on the mountain funicular railway (near Aviemore) for the spectacular views, followed by a journey on Strathspey Heritage railway from Aviemore to Broomhill. "

"This was our second visit to The Cow Shed and as soon as we arrived and looked out at the stunning views we felt relaxed. Steve and Kirsty are so welcoming and have thought of everything to make the place feel like home. It's spotless, cosy and in the best location. We visited Ben Nevis but chose to stay locally for the remainder of our stay, never wanting to go far because we couldn't wait to return to this beautiful holiday home and relax. "Following a previous visit to Lettoch Cottages, we returned after Covid and life threw some curve balls at our holiday plans. Despite the 7 year absence, Steve & Kirsty welcomed us back to The Cow Shed with their usual warm hospitality. Little touches like checking in with us as they were not going to be home when we initially arrived, to ensuring we were able to still function when Storm Amy popped in were much appreciated. The views are just spectacular whatever the weather and certainly nourish the soul. The Cow Shed is well equipped, comfortable, warm and spacious and the added attraction of the squirrels, birds and deer are a welcome bonus. "

"The highest praise possible starting and ending with warm welcome from the host and polite departure conversation after 3 nights in luxury with everything we needed, provided and much appreciated extra provision of, for example, special coffee to use in the cafetiere which the host knew we'd be using daily. There was endless hot water and speedy, reliable wifi as well as quality TV watched from comfortable armchair/sofa. I could go on but the pictures on the website are absolutely realistic for people to judge for themselves! "

"Having stayed in the 4 bed Lettoch Beag 4 years previously, this time we were after a romantic getaway. We weren't disappointed. What a wonderfully individual cottage. The loving care to detail that Steve and Kirsty put into each property to make it so homely and welcoming is amazing. They truly think of every little thing. Staying there sets the bar very high for every other place we look at. The views from the front porch are breathtaking, with wildlife and walks from the door you don't need to travel far. If you do though, there is plenty to fill your time. Thanks again for a truly revitalising break. "

"Hi Bea & the team. As you know we stayed in Cowshed in August and we're coming back in October. I've been fortunate enough to visit and stay.in some wonderful places in the world. But I genuinely love going back to Lettoch, The Cowshed being our favourite.. It's just beautiful it has everything you need. It's perfect without being "Perfect" meaning sometimes you can go to some places and it's to perfect that you don't feel like you can relax, everything looks to precious. The Cowshed is like a big warm hug, you walk in and you don't want to walk out. Steve is such a genuine guy, making sure everything is okay but giving you your privacy... Perfect. It was our second stay at “The Stables”, but definitely not our last. The cottage is absolutely beautiful and cosy, and everything was prepared for us with so much heart and care. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape and the stunning views surrounding the cottage. Thank you, Clara, for all the passion and care you put into this wonderful place. We hope to be back soon!

Fab stay, superb accomodation and all on one floor!! Pitlochry never disappoints. The old Mill was fantastic as were the walks in Faskally Forest...just out of our gate?
