There are a range of key towns and villages in Perthshire to discover, from the bustling market-town of Blairgowrie to the picturesque Pitlochry, famed for its unique salmon ladder and Theatre, to the historical Cathedral town of Dunkeld and adjacent Birnam (home to Shakespeare's famous Wood).

With castles in Blair Athol to distilleries in Aberfeldy, Crieff and Pitlochry, plus lochs, glens, golf courses and fishing beats along the River Tay, there’s plenty of reasons to stay, relax and explore Perthshire.

The white turrets and fortress walls of Blair Castle shimmer in the summer sunshine. The grounds are luscious green, the pathways dry and well kept and the Scottish flag, the saltire, fly's high in a wind from the main turret against a blue sky

Guest Reviews

Thanks for a lovely stay at this well situated and quiet cottage on the outskirts of Pitlochry. It is a fantastic base for exploring all that Pitlochry and the local area have to offer. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable and it was lovely to have the spacious garden to enjoy the sunshine and the wildlife in the adjoining woods. On lots of days we just walked straight from the cottage to enjoy the Pitlochry walking trails, the town and the Theatre.
