Dear Bea, Our second visit to Kasinga, and again it did not disappoint. We all had a fabulous time. The property was spotless, is always well provided and all the wee touches make it a home from home. We also had great weather, so benefited from the wonderful garden and outside seating, even getting a tan in Perthshire, in August! A beautiful cottage, clean environment throughout including bathroom, shower/toilets bedrooms and the kitchen/diner. Lovely setup in all the rooms, great combination of furnishings ( real home away from home) specious and well located in a quiet area. I was beautifully surprised as the pictures do not do the cottage justice. Great internet connection, local restaurants, amenities. For us it was centrally located and perfect for the areas that we were visiting (reasonable travel time to make day visits to part of the Highlands and to other Scottish cities and attractions.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hollyhock Cottage, it is exactly how it looks and is described on the website. It is in the ideal location for accessing all of the local walks and beauty spots without the need to drive. The local facilities in Birnam are brilliant and thanks to the info in the folder we discovered the takeaway pizzas at the Inn and the Facebook post led us to the Chattan Tea rooms where we had lunch and coffees and scones!
