Just back from our 7th stay at By the Brae. It was our first break away since Covid. The cottage was as welcoming as ever and so relaxing. Wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for a lovely stay and already booked for next year.

We stayed three nights in the farmhouse and loved the quiet and beautiful property. This is a guesthouse on a large working estate and the host family was very friendly and welcoming. We came and went without issue and really enjoyed the nearby town of Dunkeld for food and groceries. The house was very nicely decorated and was really comfortable.
When I had an idea of what I hoped a home in the Scottish highlands would be...this was exactly it! The pictures are accurate but certainly don’t do the space justice. It is impossible to capture how beautiful the property is. We had morning coffee outside as the sheep grazed a few feet away. We felt far away but were only a few miles from Dunkeld and lots of things to do. We spent our nights taking and laughing with a fire going and slept like babies. I wish that I could spend a year in this home! Thank you for having us.
