What a lovely spot to stay in - so peaceful and relaxing and we were so very lucky with the weather - no rain and wall to wall sunshine. In spite of walking the dog on the red squirrel trail daily, I did not manage to see a squirrel so was disappointed on this aspect. Most evenings were able to dine out on the verandah as the sun is there from lunch until dusk and it has been so warm - hot in fact. It was very nice knowing the central heating was there if it was needed, can recommend the cheese scones at the Watermill! Janet, Ron & "Kiri"
We stayed for two night in this lovely house, I couldn't recommend it high enough to do it justice. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in this well equipped house, having gone armed with extra blankets, board games etc for the cold scottish dark nights, I needn't have bothered. The rural country setting was perfect and just what we all needed, long walks, flowing river and best of all no light pollution, pitch darkness and cloudless skies, we were all out staring up at the stars for ages.
You have a hidden gem up here and we`ve loved it! You made us feel very welcome and the dog treats, homemade shortbread and nuts for the wildlife were a lovely extra, thank you. We are all looking forward to another relaxing break here soon. Thanks again, Kim, Michael, Jack, Lucy & Buddy
