It was perfectly placed in a quiet location with easy access to town and walks. We had a great weekend at Auld Smiddy Cottage. It is so homely and has everything you need. It is very clean and comfortable. Lovely decor. Best location, within walking distance to main part of Pitlochry. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Pitlochry. Thank you, Caroline
Auld Smiddy Cottage
We have holidayed at Linfield in summer and autumn and have enjoyed the cottage and area both times. Linfield is in an ideal location very close to the centre of Pitlochry..5 minutes walk..but on a quiet lane so no traffic noise. The house is very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. There is a large garden with patio seating and a small summer house. We had fantastic weather so used the patio a lot. There is plenty to see and do in close proximity including the Atholl Palace Hotel Museum and Pitlochry Station charity bookshop as well as all the more well known tourist attractions. Menzies Castle at Aberfeldy is not as well advertised but worth a visit. We look forward to visiting again.
