At 1pm Santa and his Reindeer lead the festive parade from Birnam Hotel over the bridge into Dunkeld and Santa' Grotto. The Pitlochry Christmas Festival is kicking off the Christmas season with a fun afternoon for all the family. For the younger visitor there will be storytelling and a mini Highland Games. For grown ups and older children, there will be special offers in shops and cafes, a BBQ at Fisher’s Hotel, street entertainment and market stalls. The Finale of the day will be the switch on of the lights on Fisher’s Hotel Christmas Tree at 4pm. More >

Hi Bea Our stay was perfect, Lynn and Andy could not do more to make us feel welcome. Freshly baked bread and cake waiting for us along with wine milk teabags and freshly picked eggs that were available to us throughout our stay. Location was perfect as was outdoor furniture. Beautiful garden full of colour.
Tigh Monadh
Comfortable, modern home within easy striking distance of Pitlochry. We particularly enjoyed the garden, which is beautifully landscaped and a bit of a sun trap in good weather.
The Snug
We had an absolutely amazing time in Perthshire. The accommodation was superb and every need had been thought of and provided. Steve and Kirsty were brilliant hosts even to point of driving us down to the local restaurant for our 1st anniversary dinner. To be perfectly honest I can not think of how our stay at the Cow Shed 2 could have been improved. We certainly hope to return in the future.
