At 1pm Santa and his Reindeer lead the festive parade from Birnam Hotel over the bridge into Dunkeld and Santa' Grotto. Dunkeld & Birnam' Christmas Market is full of wonderful crafts, gifts and local produce, with hot refreshments available, including hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream. More >
The Pitlochry Christmas Festival is kicking off the Christmas season with a fun afternoon for all the family. For the younger visitor there will be storytelling and a mini Highland Games. For grown ups and older children, there will be special offers in shops and cafes, a BBQ at Fisher’s Hotel, street entertainment and market stalls. Hi, We would just like to say that our holiday in Roneval from 19th September to 3rd October 2020, was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Plenty of Gel wash and wipes. Fantastic walks from the door, we only used the car twice in the fortnight. Lovely warm and clean house. Excellent location. Lovely views from the dining room to the hills. Fantastic little spot for reading my kindle next to the dining table. So good, we have booked another fortnight in 2021. Excellent coffee and scones at the Escape Cafe at the other end of town and lovely meal in the Golf Club (dogs allowed). Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Had a lovely time, a totally relaxing holiday. Lodge very clean and perfectly positioned. It was so peaceful to sit by the river soaking up the sun! Yes Sun! Will certainly stay again we had a great time. Colin, Lynne and Rory the spaniel.
