October 2020

Hi Bea we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the farmhouse, and the views, were amazing. Great walking from the door We had a lovely lovely stay.

August 2020

We had an amazing time in Craigeanie and would certainly look to return

August 2018

The views from the farmhouse are absolutely incredible and likely to be long remembered. The farmhouse itself is very spacious. It's well worth taking both the road through Glen Lyon as well as the road past Ben Lawers as both offer spectacular scenery. Oh, and we would definitely recommend a stop at the Glen Lyon Tea Room.

There are numerous country hotels and restaurants in the area, including The Ardeonaig Hotel on Loch Tay, The Fortingall Hotel and bar (seven miles), the Courtyard Restaurant in Kenmore and Ailean Chraggan, and Weem Hotel near Aberfeldy.

Aberfeldy ( 19m) is a charming market town, offering a wonderful selection of individual shops and cafes, the recently re-opened Birks cinema shows new releases as well as live screenings of national performances. There is an excellent choice of golf courses in the area and this is also wonderful cycling country. Loch Tay offers plenty of water sports and the famous replica Iron Age crannog in the loch is definitely worth a visit. Pitlochry, to the north is a bustling tourist town famous for its Festival Theatre, salmon ladder and Dam.
