The Cow Shed 2 is our go to holiday cottage, and any others we visit we measure against It, and nothing measures up!
It’s perfect, it’s got everything you could need, it’s spotless, comfortable and setting is absolutely beautiful.
The hosts Steve and Kirsty are a lovely couple, they are so invested in their guests having the best experience, nothing is too much trouble, and they go the extra mile (or several) to ensure everything is spot on! We love it and will return at least annually. Alastair and John

This has got to be the most relaxing place in the world. We chose to stay in Cow Shed 2 because we have had a busy few years and really wanted to have a calming, restorative holiday. Cow shed 2 is the perfect place to do this. We had the perfect stay. The property is so cosy and beautiful. Steve and Kirsty have such warmth, you feel like old friends immediately. I love this place! Cannot recommend it enough.

Re our recent stay at The Cow Shed our feedback for future guests is wholly positive - the property was clean and super cosy, the owners helpful and friendly but not intrusive. So lovely to have an unlimited supply of logs for the wood burner. Plenty of useful information about the area and further afield available in the cottage. Highly recommend and thank you for a lovely stay.

We had an absolutely amazing time in Perthshire. The accommodation was superb and every need had been thought of and provided. Steve and Kirsty were brilliant hosts even to point of driving us down to the local restaurant for our 1st anniversary dinner. To be perfectly honest I can not think of how our stay at the Cow Shed 2 could have been improved. We certainly hope to return in the future.

Cow Shed 2 is an immaculately renovated hill top barn conversion with staggering highland views. Formerly a byre, Cow Shed 2 has been lovingly converted into a relaxing holiday retreat- perfect for couples and guests seeking peaceful comfort and panoramic views.
Just six miles north of Pitlochry in Highland Perthshire Lettoch Farm enjoys an enviable elevated position above the historic Killiecrankie battlefield.
Steve developed the Cow Shed experience becasue he wanted to create a space that everyone would love to holiday in. He was also keen to utilise his passion for sustainable building and natural materials.
Steve halved the remaining steading by building a straw-bale wall which was plastered using traditional clay. This created a generous open-planned living space which visitors to the original Cowshed had always commented on, finding it a real plus to their short break and holiday in Perthshire. A centrally located wood burning stove separates a wonderfully cosy sitting room from the spacious open plan kitchen dining area.
It was important to Steve that comfort, sustainability and style were the focus of Cowshed 2. The kitchen has been made almost entirely from recycled pallet wood; a theme continued on pallet wood-clad feature walls found in both the main living area and adjacent bedroom ( bed available as Super King or twin beds - please specify when booking) Underfloor heating spreads across the cottage and a wood burning stove guarantees cosiness in all weathers. Finally, the en-suite bathroom enjoys a walk-in, power shower.
