This spacious and welcoming log cabin in the Highlands is tucked away amongst the woodlands of Glen Derby. Regular visits from local deer, resident birds and red squirrels to the garden make this log cabin a haven for wildlife and wildlife lovers alike !

We have holidayed at Linfield in summer and autumn and have enjoyed the cottage and area both times. Linfield is in an ideal location very close to the centre of Pitlochry..5 minutes walk..but on a quiet lane so no traffic noise. The house is very spacious, modern and beautifully decorated. There is a large garden with patio seating and a small summer house. We had fantastic weather so used the patio a lot. There is plenty to see and do in close proximity including the Atholl Palace Hotel Museum and Pitlochry Station charity bookshop as well as all the more well known tourist attractions. Menzies Castle at Aberfeldy is not as well advertised but worth a visit. We look forward to visiting again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Schiehallion Cottage. Very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Lovely quiet location.
