This cottage was so charming! I stayed with my parents and we absolutely loved it! Birnam is an adorable, quiet town and we really enjoyed exploring/grabbing a bite to eat over in Dunkeld which was just a short walk away. The cottage is also right next to the train station and bus stop which was very convenient for traveling around since we didn’t have a car. We took the train up to Inverness for a day trip and down to Stirling the next day and both trips were quick with lovely scenery the whole way! The cottage itself was wonderful. We really enjoyed the wood burning stove, especially after a long day out in the cold and I loved the beautiful garden out back.
Hollyhock Cottage
We had a lovely 5 day stay at Northshore, great little house, well equipped, clean and bright with a super garden (enclosed) with direct access to the forest and loch. The town centre is a short walk from the house, we didn’t use the car once as everything we wanted was within walking distance. Thanks again

The Heathergems flat really is quite a nice place. Well located, convenient with lovely views of the hills opposite the river and all one would require while on holiday. The check in and out process was easy and replies to any questions or queries were quick and very helpful. My friend and I appreciated having a nice place to unwind and relax after days hiking and exploring the area. I definitely recommend Heathergems for those visiting Pitlochery!
