Our second time here and it was just how we remembered it. The cottage was clean and crisp as the first time we stayed. Excellent location for exploring the nearby areas and perfect for getting away from it all. See you again next year!
Hollyhock Cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ruggles over the New Year period. The house is very cosy in the cold Scottish winter, and plenty of logs and coal were provided so that we could keep the fire going whenever we were at home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers in both bathrooms worked very well. The kitchen was well provisioned for making meals. The location of Ruggles is stunning with some beautiful walks straight out of the front door. A particularly nice touch was the bag of monkey nuts that was provided – we put some out on the feeders opposite the front door and were almost immediately rewarded with the sight of a red squirrel coming to eat them. This was our second trip to Ruggles and we’ll almost certainly be coming again.
Ruggles Cottage
Perfect cottage, clean and well equipped in a perfect setting too. We didn't want for anything while we were staying and we will be back!
